For those of you who didn't see the awards, the filmmaker dedicated it to the young man whose death the movie investigates and to his father, who was a Navy interrogator and is "furious" about the methods being used today. He ended his acceptance speech by saying that he hopes his film helps move the country from the dark side and back into the light.
